About Us
The Glendale Philharmonic Orchestra is DBA of Positive Motions Foundation, a tax-exempt non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to perform positive change in the society through support of professional art forms. Under the baton of internationally renowned Mikael Avetisyan, Artistic Director & Principal Conductor, the orchestra presently consists of 35 professional musicians.
The orchestra was founded by noted cellist Ruslan Biryukov , who also serves as Artistic Director and Producer of Positive Motions Concert Series, which presents the orchestra.
